Dr. Gutierrez was born in a small town near Estado Lara, Venezuela. Both parents are Cuban natives. As a young girl she always had a smile on her face, which encouraged her to pursue her career in Dentistry. She earned her bachelor’s degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1992 at the University of Zulia, Venezuela. She continued her education at the University to receive her Master’s Degree in Pediatric Dentistry in 1999. After graduating she migrated to Kansas City where she met with the director of the UMKC which helped her get her license from the Netherlands in 2000. Dr. Gutierrez then completed her residence in Aruba. In 1999 Dr. Gutierrez started a convention where she traveled with the students from UMKC to Venezuela to volunteer providing dental services at a local Orphanage named Abansa. She continued this act of charity for 6 years. Dr. Gutierrez then moved to South Florida in 2004 where she attended Nova Southeastern University in 2007 and graduated within two years with an Advanced Education in General Dentistry. The last year she was treating patients with Disabilities and Special Needs.

 

Dr. Gutierrez is passionate about providing the highest quality dental care in a warm, comfortable environment. She is a member of the ADA, DOCS, and the Northern Virginia Dental Association. Dr. Gutierrez strives to maintain a high level of expertise through regular participation in continuing education courses and seminars. She has dealt with hundreds of cases involving complicated extractions and root canal therapies using advanced equipment.

In her free time Dr. Gutierrez loves the outdoors, dancing, listening to music, boating, and water skiing. She also likes to spend quality time with her family in Florida. Her charismatic attitude is sure to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
